Michael
C. Ohoven - Producer

Michael Ohoven, the company’s CEO and
producer, formed Infinity Media in 2000. Mr. Ohoven
learned financing and institutional investment at
the prestigious Commerzbank and at the family’s
investment bank. While studying economics and business
administration at one of Germany’s leading
universities, Mr. Ohoven joined the International
Corporate Affairs division of RTL Television, Europe’s
largest private broadcaster.
After two and a half years, Mr. Ohoven left the company
to form Infinity. Under his leadership, the company
quickly established strong working relationships
with major studios, talent representatives, and
financial institutions. Amongst numerous international
nominations and awards, his films have already
been honored with five Academy Award nominations
and one win. Mr. Ohoven is one of the youngest
ever Oscar-nominated producers, and in 2006, The
Hollywood Reporter named him one of Hollywood’s
“Most Prolific Producers.”
Mr. Ohoven follows his
family’s proud tradition of business leadership
and charitable endeavors. His companies provide
significant contributions to charitable organizations,
and he holds multiple positions with several of
them, including CEO of the Foundation for UNESCO-Education
for Children in Need and President of Hope for
Children in Need.

Kevin
Turen - President
Before joining Inifinity in 2007, Kevin Turen
was the President of Production at First look
Studios. He joined First Look in 2004 and has
been integral to the growth of the company through
acquisitions and expansion, participating in the
build out of Capital Entertainment, a 5 person
production company, into First Look Studios, now
a distribution, production and finance company
with over 200 employees. Additionally, Kevin has
developed and produced a number of critically
acclaimed films while at First Look, including
THE DEAD GIRL, directed by Karen Moncrieff, which
has been nominated for several Independent Spirit
Awards, and WASSUP ROCKERS, written and directed
by Larry Clark. As well as the upcoming AMERICAN
CRIME, directed by Tommy O’Haver and SMILEY
FACE, directed by Gregg Araki – both official
selections of the Sundance Film Festival in 2007.
Kevin graduated from Columbia University with
a degree in English and Critical Film Studies,
and formerly served as the West Coast Head The
Institute for Civil Liberties, a non-profit organization
committed to the enrichment and education of inner
city high school students.

Brandye
James - VP,
Development and Production
A native of Texas, Brandye James’
film career began in physical production on feature
films at the age of sixteen, assisting world-renowned
Location Manager, Pamela Mount. While on scholarship
at Southern Methodist University, James worked
as a Production Assistant on feature films and
commercials.
After receiving a degree
in Film and Fine Arts from Southern Methodist
University, James worked as a Producer on commercials
for many of the world’s top advertising
agencies. In addition, she traveled the globe
producing photo shoots with some of the world's
most prestigious photographers.
Before joining Infinity,
James served as Head of Production for Blockbuster
Inc. for six years. There, she managed a staff
of Producers, Writers and Editors and oversaw
all production for the company. During this time,
James worked as the head Producer for DEJ Productions,
where she was involved in the marketing of all
the company’s film releases, including the
Academy Award winning titles Monster and Crash.
It was also during this time that James developed
Invisible by David Elliot, now an Infinity Media
production.

Ariana
Mufson - Director of Development
Ariana Mufson, a Boston native now residing in
Los Angeles, holds a BA in both English and film
studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
Mufson graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and with honors
for her film thesis which also received the Akiva
Goldsman award in screenwriting. She went on to
receive the prestigious Ford Fellowship for 2003-04.
Mufson has worked in television development and
production in both London and Boston, and more
recently in television casting, where she helped
to cast the hit show Psych for USA, as well as
episodes of Bones and various pilots for the Fox
network.
In theater, Mufson has
experience directing and stage managing numerous
productions. In Boston, she taught a Shakespeare
program to children for three years, as well as
stage managed the Boston Historical Society’s
Innovation tour. Currently, Mufson reviews theater
for the online site curtainup.com.
On the development side, Mufson aided the Sundance
Feature Films program at the Sundance Institute
in selecting writers for their 2005 Screenwriting
Labs, and has worked as a script analyst for Initial
Entertainment Group. More recently, she has worked
in development for a number of independent film
producers and production companies throughout
Hollywood, before joining Infinity in 2006.
